Bestseller: Multi-brand Traceability at Scale

Bestseller’s traceability journey
Through Strategic Partnership
Textile Genesis is helping BESTSELLER trace materials from their origin to the final product, building a transparent data-driven supply chain across their global fashion portfolio. Using Textile Genesis’s fiber-forward tracing technology, BESTSELLER is able to trace man-made cellulosic fibers and direct-to-farm cotton from their source, providing valuable learnings for ongoing traceability work.
Massive Scale Achievement
Since beginning their partnership, BESTSELLER has traced more than 40 million garments through their supply chain using the Textile Genesis platform. This represents one of the largest multi-brand implementations of textile traceability technology in the fashion industry.
Multi-Regional Implementation
BESTSELLER tested the viability of onboarding all supply chain partners on one unified traceability platform, working with 15 key manufacturers across four regions. This comprehensive approach traced millions of products back through their supply chain, demonstrating the scalability of digital traceability across diverse global operations.
Enhanced Supply Chain Visibility
The partnership significantly increased visibility into BESTSELLER’s supply chain, supporting their Nature Strategy by helping them understand country of origin and specific risks associated with land conversion and degradation. This data enables more informed decision-making around raw material sourcing and landscape restoration.
Continued Expansion
Building on the success of tracing 40+ million garments across multiple regions, Bestseller plans to continue partnering with Textile Genesis to address supply chain challenges and trace even more garments. This ongoing collaboration supports their Fashion FWD strategy ambitions for enhanced transparency.
