Fiber-to-Retail (FTR) Overview

TextileGenesis™ system creates radical transparency from fiber-to-retail deploying our pioneering Fibercoins (digital tokens) technology for robust, secured and scalable traceability for preferred, sustainable, and certified materials.

Rule based traceability engine to model real-world complexity

  • Granular traceability modeling of the complex textile value chain along with wastage loss factors
  • 300+ distinct textile ‘product flows’ modeled with the individual wastage loss factors
  • Incorporates GS1 traceability standard
  • Modular design to rapidly add new ‘circular’ supply chain business models

Fiber forwards traceability

  • TG platform captures shipments across all supply chain tiers (1-6), from sustainable fiber-origin to retail i.e. ‘fiber forwards’ approach to traceability at Purchase order, article and lot-level.
  • Real time transactions across supply chain
  • Each transaction starts with a verified sustainable fiber producer at tier-5
  • Product-article level traceability

Cross-industry ecosystem

  • Drive industry-wide scalability through strategic global partnerships with the premier ESG standards and industry organizations
  • Global traceability partnership with Textile Exchange, US Cotton Trust Protocol, and Canopy
  • Partnership with the leading sustainable fiber producers such as Lenzing, Schneider, and Arvind
  • Focus on the broad range of textile materials e.g. man-made cellulosic, recycled synthetics, cotton and wool

Support independent verification

  • Our platform supports two types of independent verification: fiber ‘forensic’ audits to verify fiber origin or third-party audits to verify the ESG credentials of suppliers.
  • We are ‘Tracer agnostic’ and integrate with various technologies such as pigment or DNA markers, isotope mapping, etc.
  • Global third-party auditing bodies have direct platform access to allow for real-time independent verification of supply chain’s ESG credentials or transactions related documents.

Supply Chain Mapping does not prevent the risk of double or triple-counting – a pervasive problem in the preferred and certified materials supply chains.

This Supply chain discovery module is ideally suited for conventional and commodity materials in textiles, or for more complex finished products such as Footwear.
